Lens on Leadership: You can build resilience ✨

Another inspiring quote for you! Sara Blakely, founder of Spanx, offers a powerful message for leaders: don't be afraid of what you don't know. In fact, she argues, it can be your greatest strength. Here's why:
- Fresh Perspective: Leaders who aren't bogged down by preconceived notions can approach challenges with a unique lens. They're more likely to ask unconventional questions, explore innovative solutions, and disrupt the status quo.
- Growth Mindset: Embracing the unknown fosters a growth mindset. Leaders who are comfortable with "not knowing" are constantly learning, adapting, and pushing boundaries. This not only benefits them but also inspires their teams to do the same.
- Building Diverse Teams: A leader who isn't afraid of the unknown is more likely to value diverse perspectives. By surrounding themselves with people from different backgrounds and experiences, they can tap into a wider range of knowledge and uncover hidden opportunities.
I also think it's how you present it, don't shy away or hide that you don't know something. It's always refreshing to admit you aren't an expert!
